CJR Visuals, Inc. is the production company of Corey Richardson, a director of photography and FAA-certified drone pilot based in the Raleigh–Durham area. Corey has shot hundreds of episodes for HGTV, Netflix, MTV, Bravo and Architectural Digest since 2003, and shows up with a full package of his own gear.

DP & camera op
Run-and-gun verité, sit-down interviews and multicam reality on Sony FX9 and FX6 bodies, with a full prime and zoom lens kit.
Aerial & FPV
FAA-certified drone work with a DJI Mavic 3 for establishing shots and a DJI Avata for FPV flythroughs of homes and properties.
Steadicam & gimbal
Laing M30F Steadicam, Trinity operation and Ronin RS 3 Pro for walk-and-talks, home reveals and smooth tracking shots.
Lighting
Aputure 600d, 300d II and 200x heads, RGB tubes and panels, plus a grip package with C-stands, frames and sandbags.
Corporate & live
Corporate interviews and live shoots like Theresa Caputo Live, with DJI wireless video so producers and clients can watch a clean feed on set.
Post & DIT
On-set media management and offload, then editing in Avid Media Composer and color in DaVinci Resolve.

Full crew on call.
Some shoots need one person who can light, shoot, record and fly. Others need a department for every job. CJR Visuals covers both, with the same lead and the same standards from a solo interview to a multicam network day.
Meet Corey
Corey Richardson, owner & DP
Corey has worked as a camera operator, DP, drone pilot and Trinity operator since 2003, with credits on Netflix's Perfect Match, the MTV Cribs reboot, Teen Mom, the Real Housewives of New York and Potomac, and hundreds of HGTV episodes and Architectural Digest productions.
Producers bring him in because he arrives with cameras, lenses, lighting, wireless video and drones that are already built, charged and tested. Beyond network television, CJR Visuals shoots corporate interviews, commercial spots and live shoots like Theresa Caputo Live, and handles post in Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve.
He studied TV and film at Brookdale College in New Jersey and now runs CJR Visuals out of the Raleigh–Durham area.

Add a second camera operator, a dedicated audio mixer and a gaffer or grip so each job gets full attention.

Full team
A complete unit with producers, multiple cameras, Steadicam, drone, DIT, and editors and a colorist for post.
